PARFUMS BOURBON

From wood, berries, leaves or roots, La Reunion island is carrying a richness of smells that is as fascinating as unknown. This resources, extracted in distilleries, are sold as raw essential oils and are only used in aromatherapy. Parfums Bourbon aims to show the potential of those endemic scent through fragrances. Together with the French perfumer Barnabé Fillon, I developed a series of perfumes that narrate the island through three different stories and create a new income for the island. Evocating a rhythm, a landscape or a moment, the fragrances are embodied in olfactive installations to tell the island through senses.
